There is just no possible way that I can take my entire beauty product regime with me (as much as I wish I could), so I’ve gotten really good at being strategic of what I bring with me on vacation. I always factor in a couple of things – how long am I out of town for and what kind of weather/climate am I going to?
99.9% of the time, I stay somewhere warm and on the west coast so luckily I don’t have to switch it up too often. I’ll break this down into a couple of categories to make things a little more organized 💁🏼♀️
When packing makeup for a trip, I try to be as minimal as possible. I already know I’m not going to be doing 75 different makeup looks, but rather my usual natural glam and more amped up glam for dinner or an event. Here’s the staples I always take with me –
–IT! Cosmetics CC Cream in the shade Light. I will wear this alone, or as a base when amping up glam!
–Lawless Seal the Deal Powder Mini in Translucent – The mini is the PERFECT size for travel!
–Lawless Lucid Skin Highlighter Another perfect multitasker for travel, I love to use this as my highlighter, a shadow and to illuminate the décolletage area!
–Lawless The Little One Eyeshadow Palette If you always go for warm, golden, bronzey, or smokey eye looks like me, this palette is perfect. It has all the essentials and is super small for travel! Plus it has a mirror which is such an added bonus!
–ABH Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde My forever brow shade!
–Lawless Satin Luxe Lipstick in Wedding Day My fave lipstick shade – wear alone or top with a gloss!
–Lawless Forget the Filler Plumping Smoothing Gloss in Rosy My all-time fave gloss, and it looks good as a topper or alone!
I always still take a routine with me, but its not my *full* routine. I try to bring a routine that is functional, gets the job done, but still feels luxurious!
–Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm I always use this balm as my first cleanse!
–Crabtree & Evelyn Evelyn Soft Touch Face Foam &&& for the second cleanse
–Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream I love this eye cream, and the packaging is pretty small and compact for travel!
–Crabtree & Evelyn Hydrating Glow Face Moisturizer My new fave moisturizer! The consistency is so interesting, it almost feels like a clay mask but then absorbs like a moisturizer!
–Biossance Squalane + Rose Vitamin C Oil & of course, I always take an oil with me. I will say, this is not the best travel product with the bottle being glass, and an awkward shape to fit in your vanity bag, but I just love this oil so much and think it is so worth it to bring along!
–Lawless Set The Stage Hydrating Priming Serum This is really the only product I’ll use in the morning before makeup because it’s the best multitasker. It literally acts as your morning serum, a light moisturizer and a primer all in one, and the scent is ADDICTING.
For hair, I really don’t bring much, but I just try to stick with the essentials – I feel like when I bring a million sprays I don’t even use them all like I would at home anyways…
–Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Strengthen + Repair Travel Kit This is THE BEST travel shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning treatment and hair oil all in one that you’ll find, trust me – the best $25 you’ll ever spend.
–Playa Pure Dry Shampoo my fave dry shampoo, and just an essential for travel always 💁🏼♀️
–Ouai Texturizing Hair Spray Mini another really good multitasker, this spray is the cutest mini size and is a texture spray mixed with a hair spray!
I really try to stick with just the basics and not bring a crazy amount of things, but this is the simplest I have found that works well for me! Do you guys bring a million products or just stick to the basics?
Take some of these with you on your next trip, I promise you’ll looooove!
